* Saturday the 28th of Feb (2/28/26) - Glue up day! We'll do a dry run and if all goes well we will glue up the top of the workbenchBig day with lots of moving parts.

* Saturday the 14th of March (3/14/26) - We will be working on dimensioning the pieces used for the base.  All of the pieces have been rough cut to length and width. We will be back on the jointer and planner to get these squared up and thicknessed.  Hopefully we can get to the point we can cut to final dimensions and maybe even start gluing up the legs and stringers.

* Saturday the 7th of Feb (2/7/26) - The agenda would be to try to continue to mill down our 2x6s and do a batch of them. I would like to try to skip jointing the first face and just try to thickness plane the boards.  i think this may save us a bit of time if it gives us reasonable results.

* 1/10/26 - Aimed to test our process for dimensioning the raw lumber into square usable boards.  After minimal experimentation it was clear that using a pretty standard approach of facing a board on the jointer, then thickness planing on the planer is going to work for us. after that, using the faced surface as a reference, we could joint another side of the board to a square corner. finally we ripped the board to the correct width using this edge against the fence. we ended up with a 1.25"x 4.5" x 96" board that was very (if not perfectly) square. definitely looked good enough for a glue up.

*<del> Saturday the 31st (1/31/26) - The agenda would be to try to take the process we proved out last workday (1/10/26) to mill down the larger 2x6s and do a batch of them. i would aim for 6 boards and then maybe to a test glue up (with out glue) to see if the clamps we have will work with the boards we produce if we have time.</del> Cancelled due to weather.  If you can make it to the shop we will still try to get something done with whoever we have available. - Turned out to be a pretty productive day. We were able to turn out 3 boards in less time than the one board in our previous workday.  Thanks to Sal and Lisa!
