Projects/Podcast AV Studio

With a potential expansion of the Hacksburg facilities, one of the new rooms in the expansions has been decided to be a Podcast Recording Studio and AV Lab. This page is to assist in the design of said space.

Equipment Needed

  • Option 2 - Localization - If we want to do 1-2 recording

• Computer
  • Use one of the Torc donated ones. Need to get specs to see what upgrades needed.
• Software
  • Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) - If we add Video Podcast Capability - $0 (Open Source)
• Audio Interface
  • Scarlett 18i8 (Recommended by Josh's brother who is a sound engineer
