Our SawStop
Hacksburg is the proud owner of a Sawstop Industrial Cabinet Saw (ICS); our model is a ICS53230. Utilizing a 5HP motor powered by 230V 3PH electricity, this table saw is the gold standard of table saws. It features a 36" Industrial T-Glide Fence System provides smooth operation, precision measurement and sure lockdown without deflection. Additionally, it is equipped with the SawStop Safety System that stops the blade on contact with skin.
SawStop Training & Use Agreement
There are three steps that must be completed in order to begin using the table saw.
- Watch the training video.
- Attend in-person training. Contact the board to schedule training.
- Sign the SawStop Agreement.
Bypass Mode
The SawStop has a bypass mode where the safety mechanism is deactivated. There are permissible and non-permissible uses of this system.

- Metal
- Wet, Green, or Wet Pressure-Treated Wood
- Carbon-filled materials
- Lasered wood
