Canning is a method of preserving food that can extend the shelf life of a variety of foods, even vegetables from your own garden. This class covers canning for beginners, including the science behind preservation, tools needed, boiling water bath, and pressure canning. Discussion time will be included for your own specific canning questions and to learn what others are canning.
