- Load your shirt into the heat press. Use an appropriately sized pressing pillow to support the design
- Set the pressure using the pressure adjustment knob. Different materials require different amounts of pressure - follow the manufacturers recommendations. A common rule of thumb is that a dollar bill should not be able to slip out.
- Raise the lid and set the target temperature and time according to your material.
- Press your shirt on its own for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and preheat the material.
- Place the design on the shirt (design side down) and place the Teflon sheet on top.
- Clamp the heat press lid down. The timer will begin counting down automatically.
- When the timer is completed, a buzzer will sound. Remove the shirt from the heat press.
- Caution: The shirt may be very hot.
- Remove the design backing from the shirt. Note: Some materials need to be removed when the shirt has fully cooled, follow the manufacturers instructions.
