This is a landing page to collect all of Hacksburg's various and sundry Safety Policies.

Failure to abide by these policies will result in severe penalties, including (but not limited to) termination of membership and being banned from re-joining.

You have been warned.

General Policies

Red-Tagging

If a piece of equipment has a red tag on it, that means it's malfunctioning and must not be used. Do not use any equipment with a red tag on it.

If you notice that a machine is malfunctioning to the point that safety is compromised, put a red tag on the equipment and notify the Board.

Equipment-Specific Policies

These policies cover use of large and/or dangerous equipment.

Before using any of the equipment on this list, you must be checked out on this equipment by the Safety Officer or their designees.
